Nuffer, Smith, Tucker (NST) is 45 years young, and while times have certainly changed since we first opened our doors, some things have remained the same, like our commitment to pushing ourselves, our clients and our profession to explore. Learn more about our history and what’s next.
Nuffer, Smith, Tucker: Then & Now
Something special happens within our firm’s four walls, and to understand it, you need to look backward – to the lives of Dave Nuffer, Bob Smith, Kerry Tucker and Bill Trumpfheller – for a glimpse into the heart and soul of NST. Lean more about our firm’s history in this blog post by Managing Director Teresa Siles.
A Vision for the Future
Some may recall the days when public relations was viewed as a wheel of propaganda, churning and burning self-serving, bias-driven news releases, and focusing mostly on securing the all-important media “hit.” That is no longer the case. The institution of public relations has been and is constantly being redefined as something bigger, greater and more meaningful than its last iteration—and NST is among the drivers of change. Learn more about our vision to Redefine PR.
While the spirit of our past leaders is not forgotten, NST continues to be led by a team of experienced PR professionals. At the helm is managing director Teresa Siles who – like previous president Bill Trumpfheller – started at the firm more than 17 years ago as an intern from San Diego State University. Industry veteran Mary Correia-Moreno serves as vice president and chief operating officer and has been with NST for 17 years as well. Rounding out the leadership team is Price Adams who serves as vice president and has been part of the NST family for more than 14 years. Learn more about the leadership team driving NST.
