Influencer Relations Specialist

You’ll work across social platforms, collaborate with a smart, fast-moving team, and play a hands-on role in shaping strategies that deliver real impact for our clients. We’re looking for a relationship-driven, results-focused professional with 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing. This role requires someone who excels at campaign strategy and execution, thrives on cultivating authentic influencer partnerships, and is eager to push boundaries in a fast-paced agency environment to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

This position is hybrid. Our team is in our Downtown San Diego office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, vet, and establish relationships with influencers across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.) that align with client goals and target audiences.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for influencers, ensuring smooth communication, contract fulfillment, delivery of creative briefs, and ongoing engagement.
- Coordinate content calendars, deadlines, and deliverables between influencers and internal teams.
- Support the strategy and execution of influencer campaigns from start to finish, including outreach, negotiation, contracts, content guidelines, and approvals.
- Track influencer campaign performance and engagement using analytics tools and platform insights.
- Prepare reports summarizing ROI, impressions, reach, and engagement for client deliverables.
- Ensure influencer content and online persona align with brand standards, legal requirements (e.g., FTC disclosures), and client objectives.
- Maintain a current database of influencer partners, including performance metrics, contract terms, and brand alignment notes.
- Recommend optimizations for future campaigns based on data and insights.
- Partner with account teams to align influencer strategies with broader PR, marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team on influencer toolkits, branded content, and digital assets.
- Support crisis management or sensitive influencer situations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in influencer relations
- Strong understanding of influencer platforms, social media trends, and digital storytelling.
- Experience managing influencer contracts, deliverables and budgets.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and measure ROI.
- Self-starter who thrives managing multiple projects, partners and deadlines simultaneously.
Salary: $60,000-$75,000
