Taylor entered the public relations profession from the other side of the media arena, having spent more than five years as a journalist and editor in the agriculture industry. His experience working with public relations professionals over the years has given him the “insider scoop” on how media and PR can best work together, and now he’s applying those learnings at NST. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Taylor has found the perfect match at NST, where he can marry his deep agriculture experience with best-in-the-business PR strategies and tactics.

What’s your favorite tool in the toolbox?
Definitely another set of eyes. Having someone else look at your hard work, whatever it may be, is the ideal way to learn and grow and ensure your final product is sharp and free of errors.
What have you learned so far in your career?
Being organized is immensely important, no matter how big or small the project or task.
What’s your proudest PR moment?
Seeing my first big project – a client’s annual report – come to life, showcasing our team’s impact in a digestible format for their most important stakeholders.
Where can we find you outside of work?
I can be found at the local golf course, In N’ Out, running a half-marathon, or at the movie theater watching (quite literally) whatever is showing.
