Account Supervisor / Digital Diva
Rebecca Schmidt is an account supervisor who not only loves diving into the details (ALL the details), but also thrives when those details are complex and come wrapped in a digital services project-themed bow. Whether it’s social media strategy and management or planning for a new website project, Rebecca’s knowledge and skillset combines strategic communications and public relations thinking with expert client services and a digital mindset. Also, call her Becky.
We Asked Rebecca …
What’s your favorite tool in the toolbox?
I love to ask questions. I ask a lot of questions, and by doing so I gain a deeper understanding about not only the task at hand, but also how the task connects back to the bigger picture.
What have you learned so far in your career?
Throughout my professional career thus far, I have grown in my confidence and ability to lead clients and projects of all kinds. I enjoy the diversity of work that agency life provides, and I can’t wait to keep making a difference.
What’s your proudest PR moment?
It was a true thrill to see my first media relations pitch land on the front page of a major daily newspaper, help a client’s video go viral and get picked up by the Weather Network, and the successful launch of my first website project. But nothing compares to the ability to keep doing the work I love and feel the impact I am making not only for my clients and who they serve, but for the world around me.
Where can we find you outside of work?
I am happily embracing the chaos of this season of life. I enjoy reading and buying books (two separate hobbies), Pilates, chasing my kids around and giving back to the military community. Oh, and I'm an almost daily Wordler.
