We Asked Kelli …

What’s your favorite tool in the toolbox?

Cultivating meaningful relationships. As a proactive dot connector, I love to identify synergies and tailor creative strategies to empower others to reach their greatest potential. My focus on providing value and lifting others supports our collective success.

What have you learned so far in your career?

Embrace boldness and innovation. Taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone can yield powerful results. Explore uncharted territories, blaze new trails, embrace the unknown. Greatness often comes from perceiving failure not as a setback, but as a catalyst for progress.

What’s your proudest PR moment?

Having long served as the client lead, most recently with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, I experienced the power of collaboration with my former agency partners. Together, we crafted dynamic PR strategies that drove impressive coverage, strengthened brand loyalty, increased footfall and boosted sales. Our efforts championed innovation and solidified our position as a thought leader in the shopping center industry. Highlights include the PR campaigns that supported the 2020 introduction of a new snow globe collection holiday experience when events were largely eliminated, and an enthusiastically embraced clothing swap pop-up shop to celebrate a sustainable Earth Month 2024.

Transitioning back to the agency side, I am committed to leveraging that client-focused perspective and always considering our clients’ needs and goals to drive success.

Where can we find you outside of work?

Outside of work, the heels are off. Mom mode and tennis shoes are on! My two young boys keep my husband and I outside, active and constantly exploring! You’ll find us enjoying San Diego to the fullest – at soccer and baseball fields, at the San Diego Zoo, enjoying our beaches and the harbor, rooting on the San Diego Padres, finding treasures, hiking, building and always snacking.
