Julia Nellis is an account executive with a background in government affairs, marketing communications and all things agricultural communications. After earning her master’s degree in communication and media studies from Minnesota State University, Julia decided she was ready to pursue new (and warmer) opportunities closer to home. Born and raised in San Diego, Julia is always ready to take on a new opportunity and lend a helping hand.

What’s your favorite tool in the toolbox?
The people around me. It’s important to surround yourself with people who will continue to challenge your mindset, experiences and continue to teach you new things.
What have you learned so far in your career?
It’s always better to ask for clarity, than to make assumptions.
What’s your proudest PR moment?
I love seeing client goals be accomplished from start to finish. There’s nothing like knowing I’ve helped people feel prepared and confident.
Where can we find you outside of work?
Outside of work, you can find me taking a hot yoga sculpt class, at the field with my U10 soccer team, spending time with my family and facetiming my long-distance besties.
