Give Cambell a story and a deadline, and she’s in her element. She joined NST as an intern, quickly earning her stripes and becoming an account coordinator. Driven and endlessly curious, she thrives in fast-paced environments where no two workdays are the same. Cambell served as president of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) SDSU Chapter and was a Broom Student Fellow at the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations, where she continues to grow as a leader and deepen her passion for the PR industry.

What’s your favorite tool in the toolbox?
I have long been the person who color codes their calendar and finds joy in a well-structured to-do list. It helps me stay organized and on top of deadlines.
What have you learned so far in your career?
Learning by doing is the best way to grow. Every opportunity you say “yes” teaches you something you can’t get from a textbook.
What’s your proudest PR moment?
My ‘pinch-me’ moment came when I landed my first piece of media coverage. The story brought in a wave of donations for a nonprofit organization, showing how impactful a good placement with compelling messaging can be.
Where can we find you outside of work?
You can find me out on a hiking trail, exploring a new spot around San Diego, or searching for the perfect iced latte.
