NST Expands Reach Through Addition of Worldcom Partners
SAN DIEGO – As the region’s companies see a greater need to reach stakeholders on either side of the U.S.-Mexico border, Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Public Relations is building upon its history in binational relations with the hiring of Rodrigo Caballero, a cross-border business veteran.

With exceptional contacts throughout Mexico, a keen knowledge of economic development and a track record for bridging the gap between the two countries, Caballero brings experience from previously helming his own company, which specializes in organizing and developing international trade shows and events. Caballero began his career with key positions within the state government in Baja, The Baja IT Cluster and Crossborder Business Group, a research firm with a presence on both sides of the border. At NST, Caballero will be charged with helping NST’s clients create strategic partnerships and raise awareness among key audiences in the U.S. and Mexico.
NST has been executing international campaigns since its early days, including managing Consejo San Diego/Tijuana, the first joint Tijuana-San Diego research and strategy effort designed to define mutual problems and action plans; tourism support for the City of Ensenada; strategy work for the Ensenada Vision 2025 project; sponsorship support for Tijuana Innovadora; and launching Great Batch Medical’s manufacturing presence in Tijuana.
