New Public Affairs and Government Relations Specialist Extends Nuffer, Smith, Tucker’s Capabilities

Extending the firm’s capabilities in the community relations and public affairs arena, Paul Worlie is joining Nuffer, Smith, Tucker as the agency’s public affairs and government relations specialist.

The firm will utilize Worlie’s extensive background in government affairs and political strategy to build relationships with elected officials in California and lead public education initiatives on behalf of NST clients. Worlie’s primary work will include collaborating with city and county elected officials statewide to educate the public about agriculture issues on behalf of the Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program, an NST client since 2008. He will also lend his skillset to other accounts as needed.

With more than 20 years of experience in public affairs, government relations and campaign management, Worlie has explored a broad range of sectors including agriculture, renewable energy, technology, transportation, environment, labor, communications and procurement. He is a seasoned professional in campaign strategy, having headed political campaigns for local, state and national leaders. Most notably, he is the former deputy executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
