SAN DIEGO – Expanding the firm’s influence in the consumer, nonprofit and workforce management sectors, Jeanna Kylstad is permanently joining Nuffer, Smith, Tucker as the agency’s newest account coordinator after previously serving as the firm’s intern.
During her time at NST, Kylstad gained an understanding of the importance of maintaining a strategic outlook when implementing campaigns and managing media relations outreach. Her work as an intern garnered placement in multiple media outlets, including segments on KUSI News, as well as articles in U-T San Diego and the Los Angeles Times. Now as an account coordinator, Kylstad’s work will focus on the following clients: McDonald’s of San Diego County, WD-40 Company, Challenged Athletes Foundation and Eastridge Workforce Solutions.

Prior to interning at NST, Kylstad’s experience in public relations began in the nonprofit arena at local organizations like the American Red Cross San Diego/Imperial County Chapter, The Arc of San Diego and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography. While working with these organizations, she helped with programs that increased awareness of specific campaigns and improved public understanding of the organizations’ mission and goals. Kylstad recently graduated cum laude from San Diego State University and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations.
