Following color trends is not just part of my job, it is also another of my many passions when it comes to design. So, of course, I love the Inspiration page at HGTV.com. First, they offer many ways to view the latest colors by trends and then they highlight colors of the month, all while making us wish we were better at DIY projects.

Another fun thing they are doing is a contest to pick your favorite color palette and pin it on Pinterest. By having a way for the public to vote, they are not only getting us excited about color but also are helping to create the next trends in color. What the public likes will drive what will happen in design of everything from furniture to bedding on HGTV.
