Pop quiz: What do the San Diego Chargers, the San Diego Zoo, Sharp Health Care, Pechanga, Life Technologies, San Diego Symphony and the folks at SD MOMfia have in common?
Answer: They are all panelists at the San Diego Social Media Symposium.
We’re about six weeks from the event, and the line-up of panelists is getting our team amped up for the day. Panelists from these companies all provide a unique perspective and are ready to share their experiences. The day will be kick-started by Peter Shankman (I’ve seen him speak – you won’t be disappointed), before the four panel sessions.
Also, we’re doing a few things differently this year. First, there will be Q&A time for each panel. Questions can be posed the old fashion way (raising your hand) or via Twitter using the #sdsms hashtag. We’ll also be having a “working lunch.” Attendees will sit in groups during lunch and each table will have a discussion leader. The idea is to create conversations. The lunch will give people the opportunity to swap stories, best practices and pose questions of one another. With social media changing daily (if not hourly), there is one thing we know for sure – nobody “knows it all.” One of the best ways to learn is from each other. We hope to see you there.
