Binational Relations

As clients and the community see an increased need to reach stakeholders on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, NST’s binational relations practice focuses on leveraging relationships to spark conversations that are critical to creating a cohesive, collaborative region. Uniquely situated near the world’s busiest land border crossing, the NST team is influenced and impacted by both countries on a daily basis and brings that cultural understanding to our strategic efforts. Our knowledge of the region and our bilingual capabilities help us guide communication efforts in audiences’ preferred language. Whether charged with raising awareness among key audiences north or south of the border, or developing strategic alliances conducive to collaboration, NST’s cross-border connections help drive our client partners’ success.

Client Work

NST developed and implemented a public relations plan for TEDxMonumento258 to position it as the organization driving the conversation about the San Diego/Tijuana binational community. The event was the first of its kind to take place on a border between two countries.

DAR Chassis Parts

When automotive manufacturer and Mexico-based DAR Chassis Parts opened its first store in the U.S., NST helped establish DAR’s brand and products to the local community and trade industry.

Farmacias Roma

NST helped Farmacias Roma, the largest family-owned and regional pharmacy in Baja-California, navigate the medical tourism landscape and inform audiences on both sides of the border.

BlueBox Ventures

NST worked with business accelerator BlueBox Ventures to bolster brand awareness and trust, and to create relationships with innovation-seeking corporations and entrepreneur networks in Latin America.
