Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Amps Up Role Of Service Within San Diego Community

Continuing the agency’s legacy of involvement within the San Diego community, Nuffer, Smith, Tucker’s Managing Director Teresa Siles has been named to the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and Vice President Price Adams was approved as a member of San Diego Rotary Club 33.

As part of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce board, Siles will bring NST’s history within the community and more than 16 years of strategic communications and planning experience to help the organization advance its mission of being an advocate and voice for business policy and connections in the San Diego-Baja California region. Through board service, she will help shape policy on issues important to job creation, housing and business growth in the region. As a member of the San Diego Rotary Club 33, Adams will join more than 500 civic, business and community leaders as they work to improve the San Diego community by fulfilling Rotary’s motto of “service above self.”

“NST has a long history of community and board service. It’s been engrained within our organization for more than 44 years and we’re honored to continue that tradition, particularly with organizations like the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, which is a driving force for businesses in our region and San Diego Rotary, which has been spearheading meaningful change in our community for more than a century,” said Siles.

Adams – who is a native San Diegan – said the involvement in Rotary is a way to give back to the community at large and further relationships with other San Diego leaders.

In addition to these appointments, NST’s leadership team and staff also serve on The Century Club of San Diego board of directors, Downtown San Diego Partnership’s downtown planning & public policy committee, Huntington’s Disease Society of America San Diego Chapter advisory board, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s public policy committee and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Young Leaders board.
